The Grand Jury is NYF’s front line in selecting the World’s Best Advertising®. These award-winning creatives evaluate NYF’s entries from over 100 countries worldwide and determine which creative campaign will move on to the medal round. Not an easy task. It takes experience, brilliant creative chops, and dedication to their craft.

NYF’s 2018 Grand Jury of 300+ creatives are one of the most diverse juries on the planet, with advertising creatives from over 50 countries around the globe, this jury is a powerhouse of innovation and creativity.

Grand Jury member, Igor Mladinovic is Chief Creative Officer for Imago Ogilvy, Croatia and leads the agency named “Best Agency in the Adriatic region” in 2016. Igor’s served on some of the top national and international festivals juries including Golden Drum, IdejaX, Art Director Club of Europe (ADC*E), Art Directors Club of Croatia, Cresta Awards, Outward. Throughout his years in advertising he’s racked up numerous awards at many prestigious competitions including:  Cannes Lions, Eurobest, Epica, Golden Drum, IdejaX, Outward, FESTO, and ADCC. Igor was a co-founder of Art Directors Club Croatia and served as Chief Coordinator for 5 years. A sought-after lecturer, he has shared his insights as a thought-leader at many professional events including TEDx talk, Leap Summit, and RIT University.

On Life:

New York Festivals: How do you tap into creativity?  What do you personally do to fan the creative flames?

Igor Mladinovic: I take a long bath in a very hot tub.

Igor Mladinovic: It’s not about destination, it’s about someone you travel with.

New York Festivals: What is your mantra for life?

Igor Mladinovic: Life is too important to take it seriously. So never regret about things you’ve done, but about those you haven’t.
