Tommi Laiho, 45, is heading the advertising agency FOLK, which is a small independent creative agency from Helsinki. FOLK is considered to be the most creative one among Finnish advertisers. As the name indicates, FOLK believes involving consumers in the process, often presenting ideas to them even before meeting the client. We seek to create ideas that form into actions that will become iconic.
Tommi is a passionate spokesman for creativity and ideas. At the same time he challenges the traditional way of doing things. He rather works with challenger brands than market leaders.
Tommi has won several advertising awards in Finland as well as internationally. He has won 3 Grand Prix’s, 6 golds, 9 silvers and 7 bronzes in the Finnish Effie awards. It is by far more than anyone else in the history of the competition in Finland. International career include awards from Epica, Eurobest, Golden Drum, Cresta and Cannes.
