Creative VP Ogilvy & Mather, Argentina
Maximiliano Maddalena is creative VP in Ogilvy South Latin leading regional and global accounts as SCJ Jonshon, American Express, DirecTV, Nestle, CCU, Alicorp and Santander.
He has a protagonist role in new business development and has been responsible during the last year for the recruitment of Directv Latam, Axion Energy, Escudo, Panama Light and Schin accounts. He leads a team of more than 60 creatives.
During his management Ogilvy Argentina won more than 30 lions at the Cannes festival, including a Titanium (the first for Argentina) and a Best in Show (Grand Prix) at the One Show Festival. He also is one of the few Argentinean creatives to win a pencil at D&AD Festival in London. Under his creative leadership Ogilvy Argentina was the most awarded agency at the Cannes and Clio Festival of 2013.
Maximiliano started his career at Vega Olmos Ponce (today Ponce Buenos Aires) as a visualizer in '98. In 1999 he was promoted to junior art director. He worked under the orders of Damian Kepel, Gabriel Vazquez, Gustavo Taretto and later of Hernán Jaúregui and Pablo Battle for accounts such as Axe, Rexona, Skip, Eco of the Andes, Audi, La Nacion.
In 2003, he joined DDB Argentina as Creative Director for Telefónica, VW, Nokia, Budweiser.
Two years later, in 2005 he joined Ogilvy Argentina. Working for brands such as Coca Cola, Sprite, Fanta, SantanderRio, WWF among others.
Between 2008 and the end of 2010 worked in Santo Buenos Aires with Sebastian Whilem and Maximiliano Anselmo for brands like Personal, Arnet, Vodafone, Milkibar.
In 2010 he returned to Ogilvy to work with YPF, Coca Cola, TED, Budweiser, Heineken, Milka. In 2011 he is appointed Creative General Director of Ogilvy Argentina working globally and locally for brands such as DirecTV, SCJ Jonhson, Mondelez, FOX Latam, CCU, Toyota, Santander, Bellcorp, Bimbo, American Express, Axion Energy among others.
In 2015 he is named VP Creativo at Ogilvy & Mather Argentina and in 2016 is appointed ECD of Ogilvy South Latin (Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay and Bolivia).
In 2018 he creates Once in a Lifetime with the multi awarded director Alex de la Iglesia witch was the most succesfull campaign for American Express Argentina in the last 20 years. Once in a Lifetime campaign won several awards including gold in Effie Awards.
