South African born Lauren van Aswegen is a globally awarded creative with experience creating campaigns for numerous different clients.

 Over the course of her career, Lauren has executed various advertising campaigns for leading brands like The New York Public Library, American Express, Nationwide, E-Trade and T-Mobile, as well as work for non-profit organizations such as The United Nations and Breast Unit Prague. Earlier this year Lauren was instrumental in bringing to life the Insta Novels program, which continues to engage a new generation of social media users with some of literature's most iconic stories.

 Lauren joined Mother New York at the end of 2017. Previously she worked at Ogilvy & Mather New York, as an ACD Art Director for 4 years. Before which she was working in the Czech Republic for 3 years at one of Prague’s most creative agencies Leagas Delaney. While at Leagas Lauren’s work for Rajec Water, Skoda was awarded both locally and internationally, making her ADC Prague’s most awarded art director for 2012.

 Her work has been recognized and awarded by numerous award shows. As well as being on the board of judges for festivals such as LIA - Design,  ADC Europe & Czech Republic. She also was invited to attend LIA London Internationals - Creative Conversations.
