Daniel Minaker (AKA Dany) bought the idea of living from the Snowboard, but he ended up selling product in the advertising world. Driven by his passion for art, technology and creativity.
He has a degree in Advertising focusing on Digital Creativity and Art Direction.
He is a herald when talking about digital communication in Argentina and he is a reference for the industry as regards creativity with no doubt.
In September 2015, Dany assumed the role of Executive Creative Director of Wunderman Argentina, together with Patán Tarazaga. Wunderman Argentina has been named “The #1 Digital Agency” for the last 5 years in the Agency Scope of Argentina.
In 2016 and 2017 Wunderman Buenos Aires, was distinguished as the “Most Valuable Player” within the whole Wunderman Network (118 offices).
In June of 2018, Dany & Patán were promoted to ECD of Wunderman Latam.
His previous experience includes three years on the creative team at “Ogilvy Argentina”, two years in “Vega Olmos Ponce Buenos Aires” (Publicis Group), three years in “Del Campo Saatchi & Saatchi” (The Second Most Creative Agency in the World, according to The Gunn Report at that time) and 1 year as Interactive Creative Director at “BBDO Argentina”.
During his professional career, he has worked and developed top brands including Nike, Movistar, The Coca-Cola Company, InBev, General Electric, Procter & Gamble, Unilever, Pepsico, Kraft, Mercado Libre, Microsoft, on local, regional and global projects.
Many of his pieces were recognized and awarded at major festivals such as Cannes Lions, Clio Awards, New York Festivals, Isaac Awards, One Show, LIA, San Sebastián, EPICA Awards, FIAP, Wave, Ojo de Iberoamérica and El Diente, among others. All along 2018 he got more than 75 international awards, placing Wunderman BA on top of the creative agencies in the country.
He lives in Buenos Aires with his wife and their 2 little kids and remembers that, before dedicating to his family and advertising full time, he used to have hobbies like playing soccer, art, bartending and going the Bombonera to support his beloved Boca Juniors.
